Manatee River Garden Club decided that for our 2020-2021 Community Outreach project to give flower designs to essential workers.  These are people who worked every day putting their lives in danger while the majority of our population stayed safe at home during the pandemic.  Every organization that received a design was amazed that a garden club would care to do this.  The smiles on their faces were priceless when the presentation was made, and the gratitude was overwhelming.  The Bradenton Police Chief sent a thank you note to our Club.  It was a wonderful project that may be continued in the future.  All costs associated with making the floral arrangements were donated.
